Covid-19
So during these strange times we have been luck enough to continue to trade and have been exceptionally busy for which I thank you all for your support and patients. The cycle industry has had an unimaginable boom which combined with the Covid-19 pandemic is causing all kinds of issues.
Deliveries are now taking nearly a week to arrive and that is for the parts I can get! A lot of basic parts are running out with suppliers as well as bikes. Unfortunately i’m not going to be able to offer much selection of bikes over the next month as supplier stock is almost non existent.
Shortly I will have some posts to show what is left instead of what has been selling.
Now that the town is starting to get back to the ‘new normal’ i’d like to remind everyone that our policy of 1 customer in the at a time continues and please try to maintain as much distance as possible while in the shop. The simple fact is I don’t have lots of staff and if we catch this - its closed doors for us.
We can not accept drop in repairs (accept punctures) and our workshop is booked up for nearly 2 weeks. We do however need to see the bike to asses it before its booked in to give us the chance to get any necessary parts it may need, which again takes time to arrive. We have no room to store bikes so a prompt collection is appreciated and non collection of bikes will result in a storage fee added of £3 pr day.
Please try to call the shop and understand that social media and email messages may take longer to respond to at this time.
We have been overwhelmed by everyones support over that last couple of months, we have a lot to do so please don’t be offended if we try to work as swiftly as possible.
Thank you
